At the BSI, we began this year with a communion service. Rev. Dr. M. Mani Chacko encouraged all the staff to recognize and listen to the ‘small whispers’ of God that come to us through the ‘broom tree’ experience. Through a liberative perspective on the Life of Elijah (I Kings 19), he reminded the staff that God is for the marginalized, the broken and the weak.

The Holy Communion service was an occasion to receive and experience God’s grace.

A happy and blessed New year!
