Lema lost his eyesight at the age of 19 and leant Barille as an adult. He thanked the Bible society of India for providing Braille Bible’s to the visually challenged. On a personal note, He thanked the BSI for the gift of Braille Bible which led him to a deeper study of God s Word and an interest to pursue theological studies. Now, Lema is a IIIrd year student at the prestigious United theological college, Bangalore.
Lema reminded us through the Nazareth Manifesto (Luke 4: 15) that we need to be involved in the lives of people who are marginalized, oppressed and disadvantaged.
Happy World Braille day! We pray for God’s blessings on all those who are visually Challenged and earnestly pray that each of them would own the copy of the Braille Bible.
